Preparing posters using LaTeX

These files were used to prepare an A0 poster using LateX. Printing it on the plotter was straightforward. The template provided currently only seems to work with latex, not pdflatex.

Note that:

• It is not possible to have floats such as figure and table inside multicols environment. So there are two commands \mycaption and \mytabcaption to generate captions for eps picture files (inserted using \includegraphics{}) and tables (made using begin{tabular}...\end{tabular}).
• Controlling footnotes inside the multicols environment is very tough if you have more than two columns.
