Match moving tools

• Boujou - A match moving software produced by Vicon (formely a product of 2d3). We have a single permanent license for Boujou 4. Licensing is done using a USB dongle which needs to be connected to the computer running the software. The dongle is kept in room 15AB05 (please contact Dr Evren Imre if you need access to it). The software is currenlty installed on cvplws04 located in the Visual Media Lab. Documentation and installation DVDs are kept with the dongle in room 15AB05. To start the software, type boujou_4_0_1 on the command line.
• PFTrack - An image analysis and match moving software produced by The Pixel Farm. We have a single floating license (valid until 13 May 2010) which provides access from the internal network. The software is currently installed on cvplws04 (Visual Media Lab), cvplws62 (10AB09), cvplws22 and cvplws23 (both in 15AB05). To start the software, type pftrack on the command line. The documentation is located under /usr/local/pftrack/docs/.

Compositing tools

• Nuke - A node-based compositor produced by The Foundry. We have 12 floating licenses which provide access from the internal network. The software can be run on any CVSSP machine connected to the internal network by typing Nuke5.1 on the command line. In addition to these, we have a few node-locked licenses for some project specific machines on the open network. All licenses are valid until 31 March 2010.
