Double quotes (") in Latex

A frequent mistake in Latex documents is to use the double quotes key (") to get double quotes characters in your document. This is wrong, because it will always give you closing quotes:

Instead, you should use pairs of single opening and closing quotes - a ``quoted'' word - which will give you this:

good example
