Comments:
Note: The thread itself holds a refrence count on the object.
this refrence count is held until the thread terminates. Another
thread can initiate shutdown by calling the Terminate() function.
Parent Classes:
Derived Classes:
Methods:
- ThreadC()
-
Default constructor.
Creates an invalid handle.
- ThreadC(ThreadBodyC & bod)
-
Body constructor.
- ThreadBodyC & Body()
-
Access body.
- const ThreadBodyC & Body() const
-
Access body.
- BooleanT Execute()
-
Start thread running.
use this command to start thread running
after it has been created. This function can only be called
once.
- void Terminate()
-
Terminate thread.
Call to stop the thread running.
THEAD SAFE.
- BooleanT SetPriority(int pri)
-
Set the priority of the process
0 to 32767, Higher faster.
THEAD SAFE.
- UIntT ID() const
-
Get a unique ID for this thread.
NB. An id may no be assigned to the thread until
after Execute() has been called.
THEAD SAFE.
- BooleanT IsValid() const
-
Check its a valid handle.
- BooleanT IsValidObject() const
-
Check its a valid handle, and that the object is pointed to is also valid.
- RCHandleC<ThreadBodyC> & operator=(const RCHandleC<ThreadBodyC> & oth)
-
Assignment.
- BooleanT operator==(const RCHandleC<ThreadBodyC> & oth) const
-
Comparison operator.
- BooleanT operator!=(const RCHandleC<ThreadBodyC> & oth) const
-
Comparison operator.
- UIntT Hash() const
-
Hash function.x
- BooleanT IsConst() const
-
Is object constant ?
- BooleanT IsNotConst() const
-
Is object not constant ?
- void SetConst(void) const
-
Lock the object.
This is const as a convience though it actual modified the
object, often object you wish to ensure are constant already
have const set.
protected:
- void Invalidate()
-
Turn this into an invalid handle.
- ThreadBodyC & Body()
-
Direct access to body.
- const ThreadBodyC & Body() const
-
